Chumporn Palm Oil Industry Public Company Limited (CPI) was established on November 7, 1979 to engage in the palm crushing mill business. We maintain a generous supply of fresh fruit bunch by operating its own palm plantations covering an area of over 20,000 rai as well as by purchasing fresh fruit bunch from major and minor farmers in Chumporn and adjacent provinces. These raw materials are then processed using the most technologically advanced machineries, which are highly efficient and environmental friendly in order to ensure high quality products and compliance with International Standards which became well accepted in the market
Successive expansions in business over the years have been complemented by rises in the registered capital on September 14th, 1993 to expand production capacity and built palm oil refinery plant. CPI also transformed into a public company, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). From that period, CPI became “the first integrated palm oil business in Thailand” start from oil palm plantations, crushing mill, and refinery plant which are producing and supplying various kinds of quality palm oil products to the related industry and consumer markets with various types of packaging such as packed in bottle, pouch, and tin under the “Leela” brand. Currently, the company has production capacity for refined palm oil of 600 tons per day, and the 2nd palm crushing mill in Prachuabkirikhan with production capacity of 45 tons per hour, and a 6.2 MW biomass power plant

- The Company raised the registered paid up capital from Baht 560,569,547 to Baht 632,752,650 with Department of Business Development on July 7, 2015 in order to support the results for the last exercise of CPI-W1.
- Being awarded “2013 National Excellent Establishment” on Occupational Health Safety and Environmentin 2013 Safety Week Activity in the Southern part of Thailand for 2 consecutive years.
- The Company raised the registered capital in an amount of 280,289,020 Baht, from the previous amountof 280,289,020 Baht to the new registered capital of 560,578,040 Baht. which was the ordinary share of 280,289,020 shares at par value of 1 Baht per share in order to provide the dividend payment at the ratio of 1 ordinary share per 1 dividend stock at par value of 1 Baht per share.
- The Company raised the registered capital in an amount of 214,856,013 Baht, from the previous amount of 560,568,040 Baht to the new registered capital of 775,424,053 Baht. The ordinary share was issued in an amount of 214,856,013 shares at par value 1 Baht per share in order to support the exercise of the rights in the Warrant.
- Being awarded “2013 CSR DIW for Beginner AWARDS” by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry.
- The Board of Investment granted promotional privileges certificate No. 1702(1)/2556 on May 22’ 2013 for Manufacture of Biogas

- Being awarded “2010 Excellent Establishment on Skill Development Award” in Chumporn.

- Registered capital raised to 271.25 Million Baht.

- Chumporn Palm Oil Industry PCL acquired 100% of shares of Rungrueng Palm Oil Co., Ltd. and Pathiu Plantation Co., Ltd.
